In this book, application-related studies for acoustic biomedical sensors are covered in depth. The book features an array of different biomedical signals, including acoustic biomedical signals as well as the thermal biomedical signals, magnetic biomedical signals, and optical biomedical signals to support healthcare. Sayan Chakraborty is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Techno International New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in the Image registration from Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim, India, in the year 2023. He has completed M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering, JIS College of Engineering, West Bengal, India. He also completed his B.Tech. from the same college. He has academic experience of 11 years. He has also worked as Visiting Engineer in "Global Biomedical Technologies", CA, USA, from September 2013 to June 2014. His research area includes medical image processing, nature-inspired algorithms, and machine learning-based applications. He has about 65 research papers published in international journals, book chapters, and conferences on various topics such as optimization, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, and digital image processing. He has also worked as EditorialBoard Member in International Journal of Rough Sets and Data Analysis. He has served as Reviewer in many peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Bitan Misra received her B.Tech. and M.Tech. dual degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India, in 2018. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. She received Vice Chancellors Gold Medal during her UG for securing the highest CGPA in the university.
