This book describes comprehensively the basic concepts of Coordination Chemistry. It provides a thorough discussion of bonding theories to account for the various properties of coordination compounds. Spectral properties of complexes has been explained with the help of Orgel Diagrams. The derivation of Atomic Terms along with the coupling schemes has been presented in this book. The book also discusses the magnetic properties of complexes which involve both the magnetically dilute and magnetically concentrated systems. Orbital contribution to magnetic moment has been thoroughly discussed. Applications of magnetic studies with respect to complexes has been presented satisfactorily.
