She has extensive teaching experience and has authored numerous technical course notes with ISBNs, as well as several scientific papers. Dr. González Fernández de Castro has also worked as an advisor to companies in the field of steelmaking. She is a member of the UPM Laser Centre and is actively involved in R&D&I activities, as well as in the supervision of undergraduate and master's theses.
