He serves as member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals. His research interests include traffic and random processes, traffic control at intersections, highway design and control.

Marco Guerrieri is assistant professor of highway and traffic engineering at DICAM, University of Trento, Italy) and qualified to full professorship. He serves as member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals. He has authored 2 books and more than 90 scientific papers published in national and international scientific journals or conference proceedings.
