One brooch. Four lost daughters. Secrets waiting two centuries to be uncovered.

Scotland, 1740:** When Agnes Munro arrives in the remote fishing village of Findochty, her uncanny gift for predicting storms - and her knowledge of herbs - makes her both admired and feared by the other villagers. But when a devastating storm claims the lives of the men at sea, Agnes is branded a witch and vanishes from the village. Her four young daughters are left to fend for themselves, their family torn apart forever.

Virginia, 2026: Fearless storm chaser Skyler has never belonged anywhere for long, living an unsettled life shaped by wild weather, failed relationships, and a deep-rooted sense of restlessness that she cannot escape. The only clue to her past is a small silver brooch passed down from her grandmother - engraved with a date, 1740. Drawn to Scotland by whispers of family legend, Skyler follows the trail of the woman who wore it - and uncovers a story of love, loss and betrayal that has travelled down through the generations.

But the deeper Skyler digs, the more she begins to wonder whether Agnes's story holds the key to her own restless heart - and the reason the women in her family have never found a place they could truly call home. . .
