Kikuo Iwabuchi is an Emeritus Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. He received his undergraduate degree from Chiba University in 1975, and his Ph.D in Science from Kyoto University in 1988. From 2001 to 2017, he was a Professor of Applied Entomology at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, where he became an Emeritus Professor in 2019. He was the president of The Japanese Society of Applied Entomology and Zoology from 2015 to 2017.
