The main purpose of the book is to create a model of the presidential election campaign in South Korea. The collected materials, posted on Facebook and Twitter accounts by the three most important candidates in the campaign, were analyzed using mixed research methods. The book provides a broader context regarding political communication in Korea.

Julia Trzcinska is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Political Science (University of Wroclaw, Poland). She is also a graduate of the Confucius Institute. Her research focuses on social and political communication, public diplomacy and fan studies, mainly in Europe and East Asian countries.
