Integrated Fertility Management in Bovine Species

Mithun has an important place in the socio-cultural-religious-economic life of people of tribal nations of India namely Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. Livestock statistics indicates mithun population is undergoing non-cyclical fluctuation over a period the time due to lack of suitable breeding management in NEH region. So greater efforts are required from all the quarters to preserve and conserve the precious germplasm to enhance socio-economic status of mithun rearing regions. In this book, the editor and contributors have taken great efforts to include different topics related to reproduction and production improvement. This book will be very useful to the reproduction scientists, breeders and farmers in mithun rearing areas for enhancement of socio-economic life of livestock owners through augmentation of breeding performance of mithun species.
