Prof. Yongchang Guo, dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Foshan University, leading talent, member of the Academic and Degree Committee of the University, vice president of the Guangdong Mechanics Society, director of the Guangdong Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, director of the Guangdong Province, high-performance new building materials engineering and technology research center, Guangdong Province, the thousand, hundred, ten project of the provincial level of training objects. He is a visiting scholar of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Queen's University of Belfast, UK. He has presided over more than 60 projects, including 4 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 project of National Key Research and Development Program. He has published more than 180 academic papers in domestic and international academic journals, among which more than 100 papers are SCI indexed, with H-index=40 (Web of Science), 10 ESI high profile papers, 2 hot papers, and 2022~2024 consecutively selected in the annual list of top 2% of the world's top scientists. Prof. Qingzi Luo's research involves experimental and theoretical methods of soft soil foundation settlement and soft foundation treatment, and her major achievements have been published in the Sunset journals of Geotechnical Science, Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, Geomechanics and Engineering, etc. She is also the chairperson of the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and the Guangdong Province Natural Science Foundation Doctoral Research Initiative Project, and she was awarded the National Prize of Doctoral Students in 2014 and the Second Prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Award in 2016.
