This book explores the evolving dynamics of the global Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) market and examines Algeria's position within it. Over the past two decades, LNG has become a key pillar of global energy supply, driven by rising demand, technological innovation, and the shift toward cleaner fuels. Major exporters such as Qatar, Russia, and the United States have adapted to this changing landscape. Algeria, despite being one of the world's earliest LNG exporters and possessing substantial natural gas reserves, faces increasing challenges. Declining production from mature fields, outdated infrastructure, and limited access to growing Asian markets have weakened its competitiveness. This book identifies key areas where Algeria must improve, by proposing strategic reforms and policy shifts, the book offers a roadmap for revitalizing Algeria's LNG sector and ensuring its long-term role in the global energy landscape.
