Moby-Dick

Call me Ishmael

On the vast, unpredictable oceans, Captain Ahab of the whaling vessel Pequod is a man possessed. Haunted by the loss of his leg to the elusive white whale who claimed it, Ahab's thirst for revenge knows no bounds. Heedless of any consequences, he and his crew pursue his ghostlike nemesis: Moby Dick. Herman Melville's classic tale is a thrilling maritime adventure novel as well as a powerful allegory on the untamable essence of nature and fate.
