Dr. Heidi Wichmann holds a doctorate in natural sciences with a focus on environmental, biological, and health sciences. Trained as a neurobiologist, she researched marine natural products and their potential for the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Today, her work lies at the intersection of nature, medicine, ecology, consciousness, and societal transformation. For many years, she has explored how biological systems, environmental influences, and human health are deeply interconnected from scientific, cultural, and existential perspectives. Her passion is for a science that connects rather than divides and that understands nature as a living, dynamic system. The Earth Within Us is the culmination of many years of research, observation, and personal experience.
