Gunther Wittstock is a professor of physical chemistry at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. His research interests cover the analysis of local reactions at the solid-liquid interface with microelectrochemical and spectroscopic techniques, the combination of biochemical and biomimetic functional units with solid-state surfaces as well as local electrochemical surface modifications. He teaches courses in electrochemistry, spectroscopy and functional materials.
