Robert McNamara is Senior Lecturer in History at the University of Ulster, UK. He is the author of Britain, Nasser and the Balance of Power in the Middle East (2003), The Hashemites: The Dream of Arabia*, and as editor, The Churchills in Ireland* (2010).
