Plants are the natural sources of medicines and as per WHO reporting 80% of population of developing countries rely on Indian Medicinal plants. Plant derived drugs came into use in the modern medicine through the uses of plant material as indigenous cure in folklore or traditional systems of medicine. Earth is in its transition state where world is moving to herbs and herbal cure for various diseases. Therefore, present book contain antimicrobial, antioxidant and phytochemical screening of certain Indian Medicinal Plants for scientific validation and authentication. The emphasis is given mainly on the ethno-medicinal potentials and their scientific validation to justify their role in Ayurveda.
