Diane has had great success as a children's book author with several published within the last ten years. These range from simple stories with themes relating to the wonders of childhood, nature and wildlife, and pets. From early reader books to collections of limericks, they all are bursting with color and an innate sense of joy. She makes a point to collaborate with the most talented of artists and illustrators to bring her words to life on the page. Her books include the chart-topping It Happened on Cherry Street (2023), which focuses on a young boy in a wheel chair who bonds with a beagle on their colorful adventures; and Little Leaf's Big Adventure (2024) --a tale of travel and homesickness told from the perspective of an adventurous leaf. Both books hit #1 on Amazon's book charts. Tippy Top Tales (2024), also focuses on the adventures of a puppy and a young boy. Diane has a soft spot for limericks and two of her published books, Barnyard Limericks (2024), and Fairytale Limericks (2025), are each bursting with colorful rhymes that tell whimsical stories. She has published one book of poetry The Lucky Ones (2020), that is geared towards young adults. She is currently readying the release of her most ambitious multi-media project, The Robe of Rainbow Feathers, which includes a colorful early reader book, audiobook and short animated film. This book focuses on characters who live in and come together in a diverse neighborhood. When Raphie, a little boy in a wheelchair who lives on Cherry Street with his dog and family, finds a shiny nickel, he feels like it is his lucky day.
