Physical education is a very important part of the educational process. It is not a "Frill" or an "Ornament" tacked on to the institutional programme as a means of keeping student busy. Through a well directed programme physical education students develop skill for the use of leisure time, engage in activities conducive to healthful living, develop socially and contribute to their physical and mental health. More specifically, physical education is concerned with relationship between human movement and other areas of education that is with the relationship of the person's physical development to the mind and soul as they are being developed. This concern for the effect of physical development on other areas of human growth and development contributes to the uniquely broad special of physical education, for no other single field is concerned with the total development of human being except that education only within the Broadest possible view of that field. This book is useful to the physical trainers, researchers and physical teachers.

Presently working as Officiating Principal in Bhagwan Shree Chakradhar Swami Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, Talodhi (Balapur), Dist. Chandrapur. He obtained B.P.E. Degree (1993), M.P.Ed. Degree (1995), M.Phil in Physical Education from YCMOU, Nasik and awarded Ph.D (2012) from CMJ University, Shilong. He has published 10 research papers.
