This back ground of heterocyclic chemistry prompted us to take up a detailed and systematic study on the synthesis of some bioactive oxygen containing heterocyclic compounds. This book fulfills the above needs in the field of heterocyclic and organophosphorus chemistry.

Prof. C. Suresh Reddy, Department of Chemistry, S.V. University Tirupati is a Fellow, A.P. Akademi of Sciences and a recipient of Prof. Lallan Singh Award for Best PG Chemistry Teacher. His research interest is synthesis of bioactive organophosphorus molecules. He has 32 years of research experience, published 1 patent and about 265 research papers.
