Dr. San-Lang Wang is a distinguished scholar and expert in the field of chemistry, with over 300 scientific publications to his credit. As a distinguished professor at Tamkang University in Taiwan, he has held prominent positions including the director of the Life Science Development Center. A pioneer in microbial reclamation of chitin-containing fishery by-products, Dr. Wang's research has led to significant advancements in the production of bioactive compounds. A highly respected figure with multiple awards and honors, including the Outstanding Research Award from Taiwan Society for Agricultural Chemistry and Ministry of Science and Technology subsidies for distinguished talents, Dr. Wang has delivered over 20 invited lectures globally at prestigious conferences such as the Asia-Pacific Chitin and Chitosan Symp. and the International Chitin Chitosan Confer.
