In recent times, information technology has facilitated franchising in businesses. This paper offers a critical analysis of the extent to which information technology (IT) systems has affected franchise management in businesses. It also provides review on how a prototype franchise management system was developed for a client, VipoLand Inc. with an appropriate conclusion and recommendations.
