Popkova, Doctor of Economics, is a Head of the "Scientometrics and International Ratings" Laboratory at Armenian State University of Economics (Yerevan, Armenia) and Research Professor at the Department of Finance and Banking at the Institute of Economics, Business and Management of Osh State University (Osh, Kyrgyzstan). She is the author of more than 300 publications in Scopus (h-index: 40).
