Breakthroughs in Statistics

This is the third in a series of reprints of classic articles in statistics with original introductions by many leading researchers. These volumes will be an indispensable reference for graduate students and researchers in statistics.

The articles were carefully chosen by many of todays leading statisticians, who have also written an introduction and commentary on its impact - All articles that are included have initiated fundamental changes in statistical methodology - Previous volumes were very well received by the community

Zusammenfassung
Volume III includes more selections of articles that have initiated fundamental changes in statistical methodology. It contains articles published before 1980 that were overlooked in the previous two volumes plus articles from the 1980's - all of them chosen after consulting many of today's leading statisticians.
