Abdol S. Soofi is Professor of Economics at University of Wisconsin-Platteville, USA. He has published numerous academic articles and several books, including: Science and Innovations in Iran: Development, Progress, and Challenges (co-editor); Global Mergers and Acquisitions: Combining Companie s (co-author); Modelling and Forecasting Financial Data: Techniques of Nonlinear Dynamics (co-editor).

Mehdi Goodarzi is Assistant Professor of Technology Management at Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran, Iran. Until 2013, he worked as an Expert of Technology Policy and Manager of International Affairs at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran. He has authored many reports and articles about Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Commercialization and Science, and Technology and Innovation Policy.
