The book focuses on analysis and design for positive stochastic jump systems. By using multiple linear co-positive Lyapunov function method and linear programming technique, a basic theoretical framework is formed toward the issues of analysis and design for positive stochastic jump systems. This is achieved by providing an in-depth study on several major topics such as stability, time delay, finite-time control, observer design, filter design, and fault detection for positive stochastic jump systems. Wenhai Qi received the B.S. degree in automation from Qufu Normal University in 2008 and M.S. degree in control science and engineering from Qufu Normal University in 2013. In 2016, he received Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China. Now, he works in School of Engineering, Qufu Normal University, Rizhao, 276826, China. He was a visiting scholar with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, South Korea, in 2017 and 2019. Dr. Qi is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems. His research work focuses on Markovian switching systems, switched systems, positive systems, networked control systems, etc.

Guangdeng Zong received the M.S. degree in mathematics from Qufu Normal University, Qufu, China, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the Control Science and EngineeringDepartment, School of Automation, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2005. He is a Full Professor with Qufu Normal University, Rizhao, China. In 2010, he was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Utah State University, Logan, UT, USA. In 2012, he was a Visiting Fellow with the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics, University of Western Sydney, Penrith, NSW, Australia. In 2016, he was a Visiting Professor with the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. From 2018 to 2019, he visited the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. From 2019 to 2020, he visited the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada. Prof. Zong is currently an Editorial Board Member for some international journals, such as the International Journal of Systems Sciences, IEEE ACCESS, and the International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems.
