Chander Prakash serving as Group Pro-Vice Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, Punjab, India. He served as Dean of Research and Development/School of Mechanical Engineering at Lovely Professional University, India. He did his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has published over 530 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a highly cited researcher with 13400 citations (H-index 66 and I-10 index 252: Google Scholar 2025). He is listed in the Top 2% world's leading scientists published by Stanford University and Elsevier.
