Joseph J. McInerney is the vice president of leadership and ethics education for the Knights of Columbus, a worldwide fraternal association of more than two million members with headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut. He retired as a captain in the United States Navy after thirty years of service and has a doctorate in moral philosophy from the Catholic University of America.
