Jian Li is an associate professor in the Institute of International and Comparative Education, Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, China. She received her Ph.D. degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) from the School of Education, Indiana University Bloomington, the United States of America. Her research interests include education policy studies, globalization, and the internationalization of higher education. She has published more than 100 papers in Chinese and English in multiple SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index) and CSSCI (Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index) indexed journals, such as Higher Education, International Journal of Education Research, Educational Philosophy and Theory, Educational Research, Comparative Education Research, and China Education Journal.
