Ivan Damjanov, MD, PhD is Professor of Pathology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Extremely well-regarded in the field, Dr. Damjanov serves as book review editor for Modern Pathology and is a member of the editorial review group for Doody's. He has written dozens of journal articles and book chapters, and has edited/authored a number of books, including, Anderson Pathology, 10th edition (Mosby, 1996), High-Yield Pathology (LWW, 2001), Pathology for the Health-Related Professions (Saunders, 2000), Histopathology: A Color Atlas and Textbook (LWW, 1996), Review of Pathology (LWW, 2000), to name a few. Thus, Dr. Damjanov understands what it takes to produce a high-quality publication, how to deal with multiple contributors and the importance of bringing the project in on-time and on-budget.
