He is volume editor of three successful Springer books: Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Gastroesophageal Reflux and the Lung, and Bronchiolitis Obliterans Syndrome in Lung Transplantation.

Steven D. Nathan, MD is professor of medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Inova Campus and director of the Lung Transplant and Advanced Lung Disease programs.
