Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hartmut Schiefer lectured in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Furtwangen University and elsewhere. He has conducted research into polymer rheology and the structure and properties of polymers.

Dr.-Ing. Pat.-Ing. Felix Schiefer is employed at an international corporation, where he works in the Research & Development and Patent departments.
