This approach is linked to fundamental control problems, such as Lyapunov stability analysis and stabilization, optimal control, control under constraints, persistent disturbance rejection, and uncertain systems analysis and synthesis. All the material from the first edition has been updated to reflect the most recent developments in the field, and a new chapter on switching systems has been added.
