  Altay Brusan has academic and field experience as a software engineer and digital circuit designer. He has developed opensource and commercial projects in medical applications, such as iBEX software for radiology workstations and medical imaging hardware platforms. While furnishing a team management infrastructure, he noticed people with backgrounds other than software engineering had only a limited understanding of Git. In a few cases, team members unintentionally devastated the central backup system as they were not familiar with the basics of Git.
