"Times are changing." This is a self-evident insight, but also the fundamental prerequisite for understanding history as such. Thus, although "changing times" are clearly important for historical scholarship, it can be challenging to come to terms with them in research. This volume draws on Christine Roll's studies to open up problem-based perspectives on upheavals in history and historical research.
