The German Revolutions of 18489 were among Marx and Engels's most politically active periods. In Cologne, they published a daily newspaper, the Neue Rhenische Zeitung , that called itself the Organ of Democracy. The volume shows their impact on the revolutionary period as radical politicians and as editors and authors of the newspaper. It documents a number of newly attributed articles now published for the first time in a Marx-Engels edition.
