Property theories are usually based on the conflict between the individual and society. Lawyers working during the eras of fascism and National Socialism tried to work out alternative property concepts and to adapt the law to the political goals of the regimes. Thorsten Keiser examines the fundamental differences between the various German and Italian concepts of property.
