This "New Wettstein" volume on the Gospel of Matthew comprises chapters 1128 and provides around 2,000 newly prepared texts from the Greek world and Hellenism. Together with the first volume, research is thus presenting a unique collection of comparative texts. This allows the Gospel of Matthew to be analyzed comprehensively on a cultural history, social, philosophical, and theological level.
