This volume examines texts about surveillance culture, asking questions like: How do we tell stories of mass and self-surveillance in literature, politics, and advertising? What notions, perspectives, and fears do fictional and factual narratives offer? This volume looks at stories by J. Zeh, F. v. Borries, and E. Ruge as well as factual political narratives and advertising for fitness trackers, social networks, and automated driving.
