Prof. Dr. Vahrenkamp hat das Fachgebiet Produktionswirtschaft und Logistik an der Universität Kassel geleitet und ist Geschäftsführer der Logistik Consulting in Berlin. Prof. Dr. Herbert Kotzab ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für ABWL und Logistikmanagement an der Universität Bremen. Seine aktuellen Forschungsgebiete umfassen Ressourcensharing in der Logistik, Logistikkooperationen in der Konsumgüterwirtschaft, Instore-Logistik und Logistiksysteme im Handel sowie Messung des Entwicklungsstandes von SCM in Unternehmen. Prof. Dr. Christoph Siepermann lehrt an der Fakultät Business Science and Management der Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen.
