A comprehensive reform of supervisory board law is required, including the tasks and authorizations of supervisory boards, their size, the requirements made of their members, the way that they deal with conflicts of interests, and the legal status of their chair people. This volume presents the key parameters for a reform of supervisory board law developed by a task force comprising supervisory and management board members, lawyers and academics.
