Users, their requirements for knowledge generation, and the transformation of libraries into learning spaces and teaching libraries have effects on the services offered by libraries at institutions of higher education. This handbook describes the activities involved in supporting academic writing, before explaining the organizational implications and describing forms of networking with other higher education institutions (e.g. writing centers).
