The work offers a comprehensive representation of the German patent law with a commentary on patent law, patent royalty law, patented design law, semiconductor protection act, and the employee invention act and of the law regarding the international patent agreement. The 6th edition brings the commentary up to the date of the middle of June 2003. It also contains notes on European patent award and opposition proceedings and notes on parallel regulations of other European states. The commentary also appears on CD-ROM.
