The economist Moritz Julius Bonn (18731965) was one of the best-known intellectuals of his time. He fought for parliamentarianism, the democratic constitutional state, European reconciliation, and the taming of capitalism. For the first time, this volume brings together his most important writings from the Weimar era, including his classic essay, The Crisis of European Democracy .
