This volume contains an overview of European contract law. It takes the perspective of the law of the European Union above all and analyzes the aspects of primary and secondary law that are relevant to contract law. At the same time, it addresses its implementation in the legal systems of member states. The book deals with international private law in just as much depth as it does the special methodological issues of European private law.
