Even if they are worlds apart: Adorno studied Kierkegaard intensively. Krämer examines the manifold motives of this tense relationship. He shows that the critique of German Idealism and the determination of the modern autonomous subject as alienated at the same time unite and divide them, and that they evaluate the scope of possibility of individual practice and ethics in the narrower sense quite similarly.
