Policy analysis has grown to become a recognized and central sub-discipline in the German-language political sciences. It fills longstanding gaps that have existed in the application orientation of the discipline. This textbook presents current issues, objectives, and concepts in policy analysis, a sub-discipline that deals with the concrete aspects, determinants, and effects of political action.
