This volume contains Karl-Heinz Uthemann's collected studies on the 7 th century monk and church writer Anastasios Sinaïta, originally published between 1980 and 2001. In addition, it includes an appendix with two essays on the 6 th century patriarch of the same name, Anastasios I of Antioch. For this edition, all of the texts have been revised and typographical errors corrected.
