This volume covers the synchronal analysis as well as innovative aspects of French word formation. It systematically incorporates the previously neglected area of technical word formation and deonomastics. In addition, it examines diatopic and diastratic variations in French word formation, making applied use of linguistic corpus analysis through new media.
