Concepts such as (forced) migration, displacement, asylum, and diaspora describe phenomena that are also negotiated in exile studies. This volume brings together interdisciplinary contributions that trace their common features but also the different connotations and contexts that they evoke. The aim is to make readers aware of the implications of concepts and narratives, and to encourage dialogue between disciplines.
