The volume is devoted to Ernst Cassirer as a philosopher of connections. His work allows the linking of disparate ideas despite the terminological and methodological differences not to mention the deep-seated prejudices that separate them. The contributions in this volume relate Cassirer's views to other philosophical positions in order to highlight and harness the communicative, critical function of his work.
