This study analyzes the concept of speaking-for (advocacy) as a central topic and narrative device in Franz Kafka's writings. Through detailed readings, the author explores how scenes of triangulated communication function in connection with authorship, as a nexus between legal-political and literary-narrative forms of representation, and as a mode of literary reception.
